8x8 (Admin Console)
Login and Navigate to the Users Section
8x8 revamped their online portal and has begun migrating accounts to the Admin Console. You can control the 8x8 system by logging into: https://sso.8x8.com/sso/login.

After logging in, click on the "Users" link:
Select All Users and Bulk Edit
You will see a list of all users for the phone system. You are able to edit each user's hold music individually if desired, but we want to edit all users to use the same hold file.
Check the box at the top-left to select all users:
Now that all users are selected, click the "Bulk Edit" button:
Navigate to Music-On-Hold Settings
Click the option for "Music-on-hold settings" in the left hand menu:
Click the Change Button
To see all available hold options, click the "Change" button:
Create a New Audio File Entry
You will now see a list of all available audio files for your 8x8 account. The next step is to upload your new hold file.
Click the "Create Audio Files" button:
Next, choose the option "By uploading an audio file":
Name and Upload Your New Hold File
Give your new hold file a name, then select your new hold file by clicking the big circle. We have named the hold file "New Hold File" in this example:
After selecting the hold file from your computer, click the save button:
Select the New Hold File from Your 8x8 Library
The 8x8 system will return you to the prior page with all available audio files for hold music. Find your newly uploaded file in the list:
You may need to scroll far down the page to see your new hold file
Continue to Confirm Bulk Edit
The system will return you back to the "Music-on-hold settings" page. From there, click the "Continue" button:
Lastly, click the button to confirm your bulk edits:
You are all done! The system should update and playback your new audio file for all calls put on-hold or call park.
