8x8 *Legacy (Account Manager)
Login & Navigate to the Music On Hold Library
Once logged in, select "Phone System" from the top menu, then "Music on Hold" from the menu down the left side:
Navigate to the "Upload New Music on Hold" Page
From the Music on Hold Library page, click the "Upload New Music on Hold" link:
Add & Upload Your New Hold Music File
Click the "Add" button and select the new hold file from your computer:
Although WAV or MP3 files are both compatible with 8x8, we recommend using WAV format.
Provided that Ace Media knows you are currently using the 8x8 system, files downloaded from the AceStudio will be formatted as WAV.
Once the file is selected, click "Upload" to send the file the to 8x8 server.
Be sure to select the checkbox if you'd like the new file to be set as default for the system:
Submit Your Electronic Signature and Apply the File
Click the "I Agree" button to apply your new hold music to the 8x8 system:
Delete Old Hold Music
If desired, delete old hold music files from the Music on Hold Library:
8x8 does not allow the deletion of system-provided music files. You may only delete custom hold music.
After a few moments, the 8x8 system will confirm that the file was deleted:
