Vonage Business (Vocalocity)

Login & Navigate to PBX Settings


You can control the Vonage Business system by logging into the Admin Dashboard: https://app.vonage.com/.
Vonage provides admin and individual extension logins.
You must use the admin login to change system settings.
If Vonage directs you to the "What's New" or "Team Messaging" page, click the "Admin" button at the bottom of the left menu.

Once logged into the Admin Dashboard, click "Account" from the side menu, then click "PBX Settings":






Upload Your New Hold File


From the PBX Settings page, look for the "Hold Music" section. Click the "Upload Audio File" button and select a new hold music file from your computer:



Although WAV or MP3 files are both compatible with Vonage, we recommend using WAV format.
Provided that Ace Media knows you are currently using the Vonage system, files downloaded from the AceStudio will be formatted as WAV.




Delete Old Hold Music & Save Changes


Once your new hold music file has been added to the playlist, you will likely want to delete the old hold file by clicking the red trash can icon on the right side:
If you desire to keep multiple hold files in the playlist, you may choose between random and sequential playback modes. "Random" will randomly pick a file from the list when a caller is placed on hold, while "Sequential" will play files in the order shown.



After deleting the old file (or changing the Playback Mode), click the "Save" button to commit the changes:
