DYL
Login & Navigate to System Settings
You can control the DYL system by logging into to DYL portal: https://my.dyl.com/login.
DYL provides admin and individual extension logins.
You must use the admin login to change system settings.
Navigate to System settings by clicking the icon of a person in the top-right corner, then choosing "Settings":
Navigate to the Music On Hold Page
On the Settings page, you will see the "Phone System Management" panel on the right side. Click the link for "Music On Hold":
Upload Your New Music On Hold File
From the Settings/Manage Music On Hold Page, you are able to upload a new audio file and set it as the hold file for the entire system.
First, click the "Upload Audio File" link:
A new section will expand below. Next, click the "Choose File" button and select a hold music file from your computer:
Although WAV or MP3 files are both compatible with DYL, we recommend using WAV format.
Provided that Ace Media knows you are currently using the DYL system, files downloaded from the AceStudio will be formatted as WAV.
Once the new file is selected, create a new Label for the file and click the "Upload Audio File" link:
Assign Your New Hold Music to the System
The new hold music still needs to be applied to the system. Click the "Change Audio Selections" link:
Dropdown menus will now appear next to "Hold Music" and "Transfer." Drop down the options and choose your new hold file:
Click "Update Audio Selections" to apply your changes:
If desired, you may delete your old file by clicking the "Delete" option for the old file:
